Your account and the list of locations are the same on every system. The difference is where the app comes from.
- Windows and Mac: an installer from our site. One EXE file covers all supported versions of Windows, and macOS uses a DMG file.
- Linux: a DEB file or an AppImage.
- iPhone and iPad: the App Store.
- Android: Google Play or the APK file from our site. Huawei phones that run Android apps use the same APK file.
- Android TV: Google Play, in the same listing as the phone app, or the TV APK file from our site.
- Apple TV: the App Store, on the same page as the iPhone app.
- Router: the app installs on the router itself. Keenetic, Netcraze, OpenWrt and MikroTik are supported, but not every model.

One account, no device limit
A subscription is tied to your account, not to the device you paid on. Every laptop, phone or TV signed in to that account gets the full plan with all locations.
The number of devices and the traffic volume are not limited. Account → Statistics in the app shows both.

Get an 8-digit code
On a device that is already signed in, open Account → Sign in on another device. The app shows an 8-digit code. The digits expire after 3 minutes.

Enter the code on the new device
A new phone or computer starts in a guest account. Open Account → Sign out and confirm. Then choose Sign in with code and type the 8 digits. A TV asks for the same code.
The account page on our site also gives this code. Use it when no signed-in device is at hand. The sign-in screen offers other options as well: e-mail with a 6-digit code, Google, Apple or Telegram. The set of options depends on the system.

Do the apps cost anything?
You install the app without payment. A plan is required to connect. Without one, Connect opens the Buy Ben's VPN window. On iPhone, iPad and Android with Google Play, this window sells App Store or Google Play subscriptions. The other builds list the plans and payment methods of our site. These are Windows, Linux, the Mac version from our site and Android without Google services. The trial on our site costs $0.50 and can be bought once.
Do I need to create an account?
Not to start. On a phone, tablet or computer, the first launch signs in to an anonymous account. This account is tied to the device. To use this account on other devices, link an e-mail to it: Account → Link e-mail. Do this early. TV apps do not accept codes from guest accounts. A reinstall of the app can also lose a guest account.
Do I need to configure anything after installing?
Usually not. The app chooses the protocol and the route after you press Connect. It uses one of 4 protocols (VLESS + REALITY, XHTTP, Hysteria2 and Shadowsocks). For a specific country, choose its location under Location. The Fastest tile in the same window leaves the choice to the app.
My games console or smart TV has no app. What can I do?
Install Ben's VPN on your router. This works on supported Keenetic, Netcraze, OpenWrt and MikroTik models. Devices on your home network then use the VPN, consoles and TVs included. The installation steps are on the VPN on a home router page. For other routers, use PPTP or OpenVPN. On the account page of our site, open Router → Other routers and click Show login and password. The tab gives one login and password for all servers, plus the .ovpn files. The login works on 1 router at a time and only with an active subscription.
Is there a browser extension?
No. While the app is connected, all traffic of the computer goes through the VPN, the browser included. The exception is traffic you exclude under Tunnel.
