VPN for Telegram on restricted networks
Ben's VPN connects Telegram to its servers through a location in another country. Use it on office Wi-Fi or in a country that blocks Telegram. The trial lets you test the connection on your own network.

Telegram through the VPN in 4 steps
-
Install Ben's VPN where you use Telegram
Install it on a phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play. Telegram Desktop needs Ben's VPN on the same computer. Choose the Windows version or the macOS version, or the Linux build.
-
Open the app and wait for the first setup
The first launch creates an anonymous guest account linked to this device, without a sign-up form. A slow setup can mean that the network blocks our servers. The app then offers to find a working mirror. Tap Automatic Mirror Selection in the window that opens.
-
Tap Connect and choose a plan
This button opens Buy Ben's VPN if there is no subscription yet. Choose a plan in that window and pay. A plan bought on our website or in the bot needs no second payment. It stays on the account you paid from. Open it with Already have a subscription? → Sign in to account at the top of the purchase window.
-
Choose a location
Tap Location under the server card on the main screen. Tap the location you want in the Change Location window that opens. The Automatically connect when changing location box is checked by default. One tap on a location then connects you.
2 options when a network blocks VPN traffic
Some networks that filter Telegram also block VPN traffic. Ben's VPN has 2 options for this case: multihop and a mirror. Multihop in automatic mode adds an intermediate server in a third country when a stable connection needs it. This can keep the connection working even when your chosen location is blocked on your network. Keep the recommended mode, Automatic, under Account → Settings → Multihop.
A mirror helps when the app cannot reach our service at all. Tap Automatic Mirror Selection under Account → Settings once setup is complete. Ask Support 24/7 for the current mirror if the automatic search fails. Type the mirror under Manual Mirror Input in the same settings. Our e-mail address is on the contacts page.
Plans with no device limit
The trial is a one-time purchase, paid by card. It has the same country list as the regular plans. Those plans also accept cryptocurrency and have no traffic limit. The trial page has the other terms and conditions.
Bonus months come with purchases on this site. Refunds follow our refund policy. Send the request within 14 days of payment.
4 questions about Telegram over the VPN
Support 24/7: the chat on this site, Telegram @bensvpn and [email protected].
Do Telegram calls work over Ben's VPN?
Calls do not always connect on the first try. Tap Location and choose a different location before you call again. One tap moves the connection there while auto-connect is on.
Does Telegram Web go through the VPN too?
Yes, when Ben's VPN is connected on that computer and Tunnel is set to Off. In that mode, all computer traffic goes through the VPN, the browser included. Telegram Web needs no browser extension for this.
Is there a Ben's VPN bot in Telegram?
Yes, our Telegram bot sells the same plans as the website, the trial included. Its Log in to the app button gives a one-time code. In the app, tap Connect, then Already have a subscription? → Sign in to account. Choose Sign in with code there and enter the code from the bot.
Which location should I choose for Telegram?
Telegram does not need a particular location to work. The Fastest tile in Change Location is enough on filtered Wi-Fi. This tile gives you a location close to where you are. Choose a location in a neighboring country if your whole country blocks Telegram. The trial and every plan include all countries.
Start for 3 days, then decide
The trial costs $0.50 and opens all 187 countries and every app. After it, the plan renews at $5 a month. You can cancel the renewal from your account at any time.
