The RTHK TV schedule marks some programmes with “Programme available in Hong Kong only”. This note shows in advance which programmes need a local address. The Hong Kong location gives the RTHK website a Hong Kong address. RTHK still decides whether to accept a connection through a VPN.

Can a few sites skip the Hong Kong connection?
Yes, press Tunnel, choose Manual and enter their domains or IP addresses. Each domain or address goes on a separate line. These entries go directly from your own network. All other traffic still goes through Hong Kong. The list applies after a reconnect, which the app asks you to make.
What happens when my subscription expires?
The app shows a Subscription expired banner and stops connecting. The Extend button on the banner opens Buy Ben's VPN. After you renew, the Hong Kong location works again.
Can I use Hong Kong on a computer?
Yes, the Windows app, Mac app and Linux app have the same location list as the phone app.
